"Lauren" (1999)
One cannot survive on drawing tough guys alone. Lauren was a passing notion of a tough, no-nonsense woman standing impatiently on a subway platform. The circumstances surrounding her, the other setting detils and other particulars don't seem to matter (or didn't at the time). I was experimenting with "inkwash" at the time, the technique where you paint with diluted ink. It was a pretty rough result... I got better.
